Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus injured his knee Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
The team announced in the second quarter that he would not return:
Dareus entered Week 16 second on the team in sacks (10.0), in addition to his one forced fumble and 48 total tackles. The 24-year-old looks primed to make his second Pro Bowl appearance, having won the fan voting at defensive tackle.
The Bills are still hanging around in the AFC playoff picture, so the injury couldn't have come at a worse time. Dareus ' absence will leave a massive hole on Buffalo's defensive line.
