Everton could count themselves fairly fortunate after a two-goal first half against Queens Park Rangers on Monday night.
The Toffees were the benefactors of a pair of deflections, one from a Ross Barkley screamer, the other off a Kevin Mirallas free-kick.
Barkley opened the scoring with the above shot in the 33rd minute, an absolute rocket that just barely nicked the defender on its way into the net.
While it's impossible to say for certain, it looks from the replays that the original shot was headed wide before the redirection.
Mirallas doubled the lead in the 43rd minute, bouncing a powerful free-kick off the wall and wrong-footing Robert Green.
Steven Naismith compounded QPR's misery with a well-taken header in the 53rd minute to make it 3-0.
