It hasn't been a good few months for Uber, the on-demand taxi alternative service facing massive criticism over customer privacy concerns. Even earlier today, the city of New Delhi banned the service after a woman was allegedly raped by an Uber driver.
While some Uber users have deleted the app in protest, the company continues to look for ways to win back critics. It's been dolling out ways to have an even better in-car experience, including partnership with Spotify that turns passengers into back-seat DJs.
In yet another way to increase its cool factor, Uber is now teaming up with iHeartRadio in New York City to offer passengers a chance to win tickets to the Jingle Ball, a holiday-themed concert put on by iHeartRadio in conjunction with New York radio station Z100, and headlined by Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Pharrell and others.
