Dozens of congressional staffers gathered on the steps of the Capitol building in Washington, D.C., on Thursday afternoon in protest over the recent Eric Garner and Michael Brown grand jury decisions, demanding justice for the black men who died after confrontations with police.

Those protesting observed a moment of silence before raising their hands in the air in a sign of solidarity with other demonstrations across the country.
