After surviving a scare from Navy in its season opener, No. 8 Ohio State (1-0) is set to host Virginia Tech (1-0) for a prime-time matchup in Ohio Stadium.
The Buckeyes struggled early but surged late last week, getting 276 total yards and two touchdowns from redshirt freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett in a 34-17 victory.
The Hokies outclassed William & Mary in their season opener, piling up 488 total yards while limiting the Tribe to 193 yards in a 34-9 win.
Ohio State is favored by 11 points in its first-ever matchup against Virginia Tech, according to Odds Shark. The game is set to kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally by ESPN.
