Tiny tardigrades, also called "water bears," are just the most insanely tough creatures on earth. These dinky creatures have been flung into the chilling vacuum of space, stomped, frozen, and burned — they don’t care. It’s just downright hilarious how tough they are, and they’re everywhere: the highest mountains, the deepest ocean floors, your backyard.
We worry about climate change and weapons of mass destruction. Them, not so much.
