A pre-recorded Rihanna performance will open Thursday night's NFL game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

The NFL has been facing serious backlash after its lenient sanctions against former Ravens player Ray Rice. Rice was only recently cut from the team after more video footage surfaced of him attacking then-fiancee (now wife) Janay Palmer.
