Pornhub has launched a record label. Boy bands and teen pop singers need not apply.
Mature lyrics that will appeal to an adult audience, now that's what they're looking for, Pornhub Vice President Corey Price told Billboard .
The label, dubbed Pornhub Records, hasn't signed any artists yet, but one of its first orders of business is to find an official anthem for the internet's largest free porn site by hosting a contest.
The winner is promised up to $5,000 to produce a music video that will be hosted on Pornhub.tv. The contest guarantees a minimum of 500,000 views, a drop in the bucket compared to the 40 million views the site gets a day. Not included in the prize though: Being signed on Pornhub Records.
