It Took Her 7 Years To Share What Her Family Had Known For Generations

This one gives me the warm and fuzzies. The length that one woman goes to preserve an irreplaceable part of her culture for the future stirs up oh so many emotions.

"Who Speaks Wukchumni?" is part of TheNew York Times' cool Op-Docs collection. Thanks to the filmmaker, Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee, for bringing this beautiful clip to my attention. For more stories that celebrate culture, check out the filmmaker’s website, The Global Oneness Project.
