The Atlanta Falcons were set for a Thursday Night game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when they got a little scare during the pregame introductions.
While coming onto the field, Matt Ryan was hit in the eye during some pregame pyrotechnics and then had to put in some eye drops on the sideline.
At first, it looked like it was causing Ryan quite a bit of discomfort, or at least enough for him to quickly take his helmet off.
It didn't seem to bother Ryan too much, however, as he went 4-of-4 on the opening drive, ending it with a touchdown pass to Harry Douglas to take the 7-0 lead.
