St. Louis Blues vs. Chicago Blackhawks, 3 p.m. ET, NBC
The Chicago Blackhawks hope to eliminate the St. Louis Blues this afternoon when the two teams meet for Game 6 of their opening-round NHL playoff series in Chicago.
This has been a hard-fought, close battle and is probably the most evenly matched series this year.
The Blues won the first two games at home in overtime before the Blackhawks evened the series by winning twice in Chicago. Jonathan Toews' overtime goal in Game 5 put the defending champs up three games to two and put the Blues on the brink of elimination.
St. Louis has struggled to score in the past three games as Corey Crawford has only allowed five goals total during that time.
This figures to be another war out there with both teams looking to play a physical style.
The Blues have their work cut out for them as the Blackhawks are 8-1 in Game 6s under head coach Joel Quenneville.
