Rockets' Troy Daniels Earns 'Blazer Killer' Nickname After Game-Winning Shot

Not many people knew who Troy Daniels was before Friday night's Game 3 between the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers. Now, the NBA knows who the rookie is.

Daniels broke the 116-116 tie with a clutch three-pointer with 11 seconds remaining in overtime. His clutch shot made it a series again as it helped keep the Rockets from falling in a 3-0 hole.

For a guy who spent much of this season in the NBA Development League, he had no problem knocking down a huge shot. His late-game heroics also led to his Wikipedia page being edited (Some NSFW language):

Daniels finished the game with only nine points, but his three-pointer to win the game was the biggest shot of his career—to date.
