It seems a lifetime ago since Wayne Rooney burst onto the scene as a 16-year-old.
He came through the ranks at Everton before agreeing a move to Manchester United in the summer of 2004.
In the 10 years since, he has become one of United's most prolific goalscorers. After signing a new long-term deal earlier this year, he is on course to retire as the club's leading marksman.
At 28 years old, he is also closing in on England's goalscoring record, currently held by Sir Bobby Charlton.
