Security Videos Show Suspect in Deadly Jewish Museum Attack

Belgian police released security videos showing the man suspected of killing three people in Saturday's deadly shooting at the Jewish Museum of Belgium in Brussels. An accompanying news release described the suspect, and requested that anyone with information contact authorities.


Deputy public prosecutor Ine Van Wymersch said, "We call on the whole population to help identify this person," according to the Associated Press. Belgium launched a country-wide manhunt for the suspect on Sunday



One black-and-white video shows a man in a jacket and hat carrying multiple bags up to a doorway, before taking out a "Kalashnikov-type" gun. The man appears to drop the gun before fleeing the scene. It's unclear whether the video shows part or all of the attack, or simply the suspect's exit. Two other brief, color videos show the man walking with bags. No audio accompanies the videos.
