The future of bat retrieval in baseball is finally here.
During this year's ACC baseball tournament, someone had the terrific idea of replacing the bat boy with a bat dog. The dog in the Instagram video above is Miss Lou Lou Gehrig, the bat dog of the Single-A Greensboro Grasshoppers.
The ACC is using two bat dogs for its tournament, and as you can see below, they're pretty awesome.
